Kelly Flour Preferred Milks – nonfat dried milk replacers and Chickadee Products – egg replacer & extenders have been servicing the need of the bakery industry since the 1940’s. All Preferred Milks and Chickadee products are packed 50 pounds in a either a bag (Preferred Milks) or bag in box (Chickadee) and both are certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. All products have a 12 MONTH SHELF LIFE from date of production.
Preferred Milks Hi-Bak 260, 550 and RMB products offer a low cost alternative to the high cost of non-fat dried milk. Preferred milks are used on a pound for pound basis vs. non fat dried milk. Preferred Milk products are excellent when used in cakes, sweet dough products, breads, rolls and buns.
Chickadee’s Kel Yolk S, J and Thel Egg products off a low cost alternative to the high cost of whole powder and whole liquid eggs. Chickadee products are used on a pound for pound basis vs. powdered eggs and a 1 part Chickadee + 3 parts water = 4 parts liquid whole eggs. Chickadee products are excellent when used in cookies, cakes, doughnuts, breads and rolls.
