J performs extremely well in delicate baking items like layer cakes, butter pound cakes, certain breads, pies, cookies and sweet goods. Kel Yolk J is to be used on a pound for pound basis with whole dried eggs or 1 part J + 3 parts water = 4 parts liquid whole eggs. Chickadee Kel Yolk J has a 12 month shelf life from the date of production if stored properly.
